Support group

You don't have to work on this alone.

A biweekly virtual group for adults living with OCD, run alongside the Anxiety and Stress Disorders Institute.

OCD can be isolating - even people close to you can have a hard time understanding what it's actually like from the inside. This group is a place to connect with people who get it, alongside a clinician to help make sense of it together. Sessions blend peer connection with education about how the disorder works and what actually helps.

What to expect

  • Peer support. Time with others who understand the struggle of OCD without needing it explained. Members share what they're going through, name their own goals, and check in on progress.
  • Education. We talk through evidence-based care for OCD, including Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Inference-Based CBT (ICBT).
  • A stigma-free space. Members are welcome to talk about their OCD in whatever form it takes.
  • Clinical facilitation. Led by me, Jeffrey Taulbee, LCPC - I specialize in treating OCD and anxiety disorders.
  • Meets by video. Attend from home. No commute, no waiting room.

How to join

Visit anxietyandstress.com, or write to me directly at JeffreyTaulbee@WayfarerCounseling.com. New members start with a brief consultation, just to make sure the group's a good fit for what you're working on.

You are not your OCD. And you don't have to work on this alone.

This group is educational and supportive, and it isn't a substitute for individual treatment or a crisis service. Crisis resources are here, and they're available to anyone, client or not.
